Damp Protection
Damp can develop within walls due to a lack of damp proofing during earlier construction or renovation of a building.
Essential damp proofing treatment requires the removal of the wall plaster to roughly one metre or higher. The installation of a new damp proof course within damp walls will help to provide effective protection for the property.
Building Refurbishments
Building refurbishments can be anything from cleaning, decorating and re-equipping. It may also include reconstructing with the aim of making the building more energy efficient and sustainable for the future.
Normal refurbishments can normally involve such works as cosmetic renovations like painting and decorating, upgrading, urgent building repair work, alterations, conversions and extensions.
Dry & Wet Rot
Dampness from gutters, plumbing leaks or rising dampness, can course the surface to decay allowing wood rotting fungi to flourish and develop. Dry and wet rot can cause major structural problems for your property.
The first step in treating and removing dry and wet rot is to remove the source of moisture built up and create a dry surface. The next step is to eradicate the fungi area and replace the effected timber.
Timber Preservation
It is fairly common for wood-rotting fungi and woodworm to cause serious damage to untreated timber in buildings. This sort doesn't only cause the deterioration of the building materials, if left untreated, the structure of the building can be at risk leading to considerable costs for repair and refurbishment.
There are a wide range of chemicals available that make the wood cells, more durable and resistant to deterioration, insects and weathering.
Drone Surveys
We can offer our clients visual inspections using drones. This option for surveying is safer, in most cases cheaper, and a lot more effective than normal surveying methods.
As well as taking pictures for visual purposes, by using drones we can also gather valuable information that when looked over, allows to estimate accurate size, distance and the overall average time to complete the job.
